Overclocking Kernels For Latest Cyanogen Mod 7.2.0 RC5 Rom.

Instructions to Flash Overclocking Kernel :
1. Download smartbootv2_864.zip from above.  (link ada di bawah)

2. Copy it to your sd-card.

3. Reboot your phone to custom recovery mod (Press Home + Power button).

4. Flash this zip file on any custom recovery on your device. If you are on Clock Work Mod Recovery, Select Install Zip From SD Card>>Choose Zip From SD Card>>Select (with Home button) the file which you copied earlier to your sd card. [It is the file that you downloaded from above.]
OR,
If you have RZ Recovery, Select Install Menu>>Choose the file you copied earlier to your sd-card>>Choose Install smartbootv2_864.zip option.

5. Wait till it finishes flashing/installing the kernel.

6. Reboot you device when everything is done.

You have successfully flashed OC Kernel on your device. Now to overclock your Samsung Galaxy Pop/Mini GT-S5570 simply go to CyanogenMod Settings>>Performance>>CPU Settings>>Max CPU frequency option and choose the max frequency according to your preference/need. Though overclocking will improve the speed of your device, it is to be noted that it will also drain your battery fast and may even harm your device during long/short run. Cara Memindahkan Aplikasi ke Memory Card Dengan A2SD GUI Darktremor

1. Masuk ke CWM Recovery (tekan tombol power+home) dan pilih advanced.
2. Disini saya menggunakan memori 2 GB. Pilih partition sd card, masukkan kapasitas untuk partisi yang berformat ext (saya memilih 512). Selanjutnya muncul pengaturan kapasitas swap (saya memilih 128). Tunggu hingga proses partisi selesai dan muncul pesan partition completed. Jadi tersisa ruang sekitar 1 GB untuk menyimpan file-file musik maupun gambar.
3. Masih di mode CWM Recovery, masuk ke mount & storage > format /sd-ext, partisi yang ini agar aplikasi a2sd darktremor dapat berjalan dengan mulus.
4. Download dtapps2sd-2753-beta04-signed. dan copy ke sd card (/sdcard). Setelah itu masuk ke mode CWM Recovery lagi, pilih mount & storage > mount system dan mount data. Kemudian pilih install from sd card > choose from sd card > dtapps2sd-2.7.5.3-beta04-signed.zip > Yes. Setelah itu pilih reboot now.
5. Gak usah kaget gara-gara hape android reboot selama 2 kali, karena ini wajar yang disebabkan oleh apps mengalami pemindahan ke partisi ext4.
Hehehe, lumayan panjang kan…??? Itu baru setengah perjalanan, sekarang kita lanjut untuk memindahkan dalvik cache. Tenang aja, udah gak pake CWM lagi kok :p.
1. Download a2sd gui Darktremor dari market dan buka aplikasinya.
2. Pada tab apps2sd, aktifkan ketika pilihan di bawah ini :

3. Pindah ke tab dalvik, pilih Dalvik Cache on SD-EXT dan pilih move (bukan move and rebuilt). Tunggu beberapa saat, aplikasi yang sudah terinstall akan berpindah ke partisi ext. Hape akan mengalami reboot.

4. Setelah hidup kembali, download aplikasi move2sd enabler dari market, fungsi dari aplikasi ini ialah untuk mengaktifkan tombole move to SDCard di pengaturan aplikasi. Untuk mengetahui cara penggunaannya, silahkan baca postingan saya tentang tutorial move2sd enabler.
5. Sekarang, coba masuk ke Setting > Applications > Manage Applications. Jreeeenggg, memori internal sudah sangat-sangat lega, dan gak perlu khawatir lagi untuk menginstall aplikasi dalam jumlah banyak. Saya sempatkan juga melakukan testing benchmark dengan Quadrant Benchmark, hasilnya lumayan lah

Memindahkan Aplikasi ke SD Card Dengan Move2SD Enabler

1. Syarat untuk menggunakan aplikasi ini ialah perangkat kita harus sudah di root dulu, kalau belum tau caranya, silahkan baca disini. Kalau belum menginstall aplikasi ini, biasanya aplikasi yang setelah diinstall tidak bisa dipindahkan ke SD Card, dimana tombol untuk Move to SD Card dinonaktifkan oleh sistem.

2. Download dulu MoveSD Enabler versi offline’nya disini.
3. Setelah selesai didownload, ekstrak file Move2SD_Enabler.zip di sembarang tempat.
4. Copy file hasil ekstrak tersebut (Move2SD Enabler.apk) ke SD Card, dan seperti biasa taruh di direktori paling atas agar mudah untuk mencarinya.

5. Sekarang saatnya untuk menginstall aplikasi tersebut, dengan cara masuk ke My File > pilih Move2SD Enabler.apk. Setelah selesai melakukan instalasi, restart perangkat/smartphone.
6. Maka akan muncul icon aplikasi Move2SD Enabler, dan jalankan aplikasinya. Aplikasi ini akan mengharuskan kita mengaktifkan mode USB Debungging dan meminta hak access super user/root, pilih Enable jika kita belum mengaktifkan mode USB Debungging.

7. Setelah itu, pilih I’ve read it > Next. Maka akan muncul 3 pilihan yaitu Auto, Internal, dan External. Pilih yang External dan klik Apply.
8. Selesai sudah proses untuk mengaktifkan fitur Move to SD Card ini. Untuk memindahkan aplikasi dari memori internal ke SD Card, silahkan masuk ke Settings > Applications > Manage Applications. Pilih salah satu aplikasi, maka tombol Move to SD Card akan aktif.

Tutorial Android : Menambahkan Akses Root Pada Android 2.3 Gingerbread

 Di pagi yang cerah ini saya akan share cara rooting froyo ke gingerbread...langsung aja ke pokok bahasan hehehehehehe.....

1. Download terlebih dahulu file yang dibutuhkan untuk melakukan rooting. Filenya bisa didownload disini.
2. Setelah selesai, copy file dengan nama gingerbread_rooting.zip tersebut ke dalam sd card dan tempatkan filenya di direktori paling atas.

3. Matikan smartphone Android, dan masuk ke recovery mode dengan cara menekan tombol power + tombol home secara bersamaan. Tidak perlu menunggu lama, maka akan muncul tampilan recovery mode seperti gambar di bawah ini.

4. Gunakan tombol volume untuk memilih pilihan yang terdapat dalam mode tersebut, pilih apply update from sdcard dengan menekan tombol home.

5. Pilih file dengan nama gingerbread_rooting.zip yang sudah kita copy ke sd card. Maka proses rooting akan berjalan, dan jika berhasil akan muncul tampilan seperti di bawah ini.

6. Reboot smartphone, dan lihat pada menu aplikasi. Akan terdapat sebuah aplikasi superuser, yang menandakan smartphone Android kita berhasil di root.

Cukup gampang kan caranya…??? OK deh, semoga sedikit tips dan trik di atas bisa membantu rekan-rekan yang ingin melakukan rooting pada smartphone Android kesayangannya.
